*Give today. Leave a legacy for the Ummah.*
We are a group of Muslim sisters sharing the same beliefs and principles, who came together to build Aya 4 U. We strive to support and encourage our young girls to foster a deep relationship with their Creator and His Prophet (P.B.U.H) through age appropriate interactive lessons and unique activities that appeal to their minds, hearts and fitrah, or sacred core.
Allah (SWT) tells us that, “There is not a single thing that does not glorify His praises” - that all the world is sacred. Allah points us to those signs, or ayat, “Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the day and night there are signs for people of reason” (Quran: 3:190). One of the ayat of Allah is our fitra: the sacred core that we can always reference and use to reconnect with Allah. Our spiritual core is connected to Allah in the same way that all of creation is connected to Allah (SWT). Our fitrah is an aya for us, a sacred piece of us, transcending time and space. We teach our girls to nurture this aya, through the miracles and signs of Allah (SWT) all around them, thus, the name of our organization: Aya 4 U.
To provide an engaging environment for young Muslim girls to develop into Islamically grounded, visionary, and well-rounded Muslim women who worship Allah and create positive impacts on local and global communities.
To offer tools and services for Muslim girls to preserve and nourish their fitrah, strengthen their identity, and nurture their commitment to practice through spiritual education and experiential learning.
We combined our professional experiences in education, early and youth learning, and Islamic sciences; Along with data from numerous studies, we focus on learning and communicating through the senses and play, a form of engagement has been found to be extremely successful in teaching young children. The goal is to implement the knowledge learned in practical, engaging, and structured ways. In order to optimally achieve this, Aya 4 U aims to cover four main spheres of influence: Islamic Knowledge beyond rituals, Lived Spirituality, Suhba, and Service.
